Most hard surfaces in the house.
Kitchens and benchtops, bathrooms and showers, glass and mirrors, tiles and splashbacks, stainless steel, sealed stone and sealed floors, appliances inside and out.
Where not to use it. Unsealed stone, unsealed timber, waxed surfaces and anything the manufacturer says needs a specific cleaner. Patch test delicate or porous surfaces first.
If it does not clean like we say, we refund it.
Use it properly for 30 days. If HomeKind does not do what this site says it does, email us, tell us what happened, and we refund your bottle. You keep it, there is nothing to post back and nothing to prove. No forms and no fine print. That means the only thing you actually risk is the time it takes to fill a spray bottle.
Before you order.
Is it safe around kids and pets?
It is plant based, with no synthetic dyes, and never tested on animals. Used as directed it is a kinder option for the home. Keep the concentrate out of reach of children, avoid contact with eyes, and rinse with water if contact occurs.
Is it safe for septic systems and greywater?
Yes, it is formulated to be safe for both, which suits rentals, rural properties, tank water homes and beach houses. Use it diluted as directed rather than pouring concentrate down a drain. If you are on a regulated greywater reuse system, check that system's own requirements too.
Does it disinfect or kill germs?
No, and we will not say it does. HomeKind is a cleaner for hard surfaces, grease, grime and everyday dirt. Disinfectant and sanitiser claims require specific testing and approvals that we have not done. If you need to disinfect, use a product registered for it.
What surfaces should I avoid?
Unsealed stone, unsealed or waxed timber, and anything the manufacturer says needs a dedicated cleaner. Always patch test delicate or porous surfaces somewhere that does not show. We keep a detailed honest list in the Journal.
How much do I use?
5 to 10ml per litre of water for everyday cleaning, 10 to 20ml per litre for heavy jobs like bathrooms and kitchen grease, 20 to 30ml in a mop bucket for floors, or diluted on a cloth for spots. Start light, and give it a moment to work before you wipe.
