HomeKind exists because we clean for a living. It started inside a working cleaning business on the New South Wales south coast, where for years the van and the cupboard looked like everyone else’s: a spray for glass, a spray for the bathroom, a spray for the kitchen and a bottle for the floors.

Somewhere between the tenth bottle and the hundredth job, the question got hard to ignore. Nearly every one of those sprays is mostly water. Why is everyone paying supermarket prices, over and over, to ship water around the country in single use plastic?

So we built the bottle we actually wanted. One plant based concentrate, with three plant enzymes that break grease and grime down at the source, streak free on glass so it replaces the glass spray, and safe, at label dilutions, for the septic and greywater systems so many homes on this coast run on. You add the water at home, in the spray bottle we send free, or one you already own.

Then, and this is the part that matters, we used it on paying jobs before it ever went on a website. Real kitchens, real bathrooms, real end of lease inspections where the agent checks the corners. If it hadn’t held up there, there’d be no HomeKind.

What we stand for

One bottle that earns its place. A litre makes up to 100 spray bottles of cleaner, about 40c a spray bottle against $4 to $7 for the supermarket version, based on shelf prices observed in Australia in mid 2026.

Plain talk. The same formula is in every scent, so we’ll never tell you the peppermint one cleans better. Every ingredient is named on our what’s inside page.

Kinder by default. Plant based, no synthetic dyes, no phosphates, no parabens, no SLS, never tested on animals, in a bottle that’s recyclable where your council accepts it. Our impact

Who packs your order

Every order is packed by hand in Batemans Bay by the people who formulated it, and leaves the same day if you order by 2pm on a business day. Questions, wholesale, or you just want to talk cleaning?
